Kundan Singh is the son of late 'Bahubali' Nunu Singh, who was an upper
cast ganglord killed in police encounter. Kundan also has a brother
Chandan Singh, with whom he carried forward his father’s legacy. Kundan
is involved in many cases of murder and violence, as per reports.
Kundan surrendered himself before court in 2012 and claims that he has proved his innocence. He was also involved in killing two dozen people including a police inspector and a jailor of Beur jail between 2004 and 2007.
Despite his surrender, reports say that Kundan still has links with underworld. And now he works with Naga Singh, who reportedly heads a terror group in Mokama.
Kundan first came on Mokama police's radar after he killed two policemen with Naga's group support.
If sources are to be believed, then he was the one involved in 2004 Boring Canal Road attack on Ginni Motors using hand grenade. Reports say that the attack left police in shock as it was for the first time hand grenade was used in the attack.
